The Nova Scotia Fruit Growers' Association Annual Convention is January 28th-30, 2014 at the Old Orchard Inn outside of Wolfville and the Atlantic Food and Horticulture Research Station in Kentville.
The convention theme is '150 Years, Forever Young'.
The Nova Scotia Fruit Growers’ Association Annual Convention combines high-quality speakers, educational programing, networking, and business solutions. The Convention Committee has selected presenters for the knowledge they can impart to our members and its timeliness to the need and concerns of the Tree Fruit Growing industry.
Tree fruit growing is a long term investment. Knowledge of every aspect of the growth and care of the trees and fruit up to the time they reach the consumer is key to the success of the industry. Growers need knowledge to make choices about the many facets of physiology of the trees and fruits and the products available to manage them. The NSFGA has a long history of helping fund and find funding for research to benefit the Tree Fruit Industry. The NSFGA Annual Convention is a platform for the face to face transmission of information from the researchers, educators and industry experts to the growers.
We invite you to join us.
